Dog kennel & run security
For my first post here at Kennels 4 Dogs I thought I’d talk a little about security of kennels with runs. Now I know it’s not likely that you are going to get many cat burglars breaking into your dogs kennel to steal their jewellery, but you may find that your dog turns into Steve McQueen while your out, and escapes the confines of his kennel.
So if you are leaving your dog alone in their kennel make sure that it is secure. Fit a secure padlock to the door and make sure it fits properly. Check for damage to the walls or wire around the run and securely repair it. You may not think your dog could get out of that small hole, but you’d be surprised how ingenious and determined they can be. Don’t believe me? Then watch the following movie.
