My Dog Chez

This site is dedicated to my dog Chez.

He’s a 3 year old rescued Alsation / Labrador cross. The first year of his life was spent shut out in a small yard, and deprived of company. During that first year he had no training and only fed when someone remembered him.

Originally my parents took him on about 2 years ago, but as he hadn’t had any training or company before, he didn’t know how to behave himself and was too much for them to handle. So he began to come and stay with me at the weekends so my parents could have a break.

Eventually the amount of time he spent with me kept getting longer until he moved in permanently about 18 months ago. He’s now a much calmer dog as he knows he has a permanent home and food arrives regularly each day.

As I hadn’t actually planed on getting a dog myself, at the time, I found myself having to purchase all sorts of things I hadn’t planned on, such as dog toys and bedding. I also spent quite a few hours on the internet researching different subjects such as training techniques.

This prompted me to set up a few websites myself related to the care of dogs, this site being one of them.
